Biography

James Tarr was born on 24 Aug 1815.

He was the son of Thomas Henry Tarr and Ann Radford.

He married Hannah Brent. She was born on 3 Jun 1823. She died on 13 Mar 1902 at 'Bellevue', Clumber, Bathurst (nr), Eastern Cape, South Africa at the age of 78.

They had one child: James Henry Tarr.

He died on 26 Aug 1896 at the age of 81.
