Biography

He was the son of Jacobus Pieter Verster and Johanna Catharina Elizabeth van Dyk.

He married Helena Catharina Susarah Lombard. Helena Catharina Susarah was the daughter of Barend Jacobus Lombard and Herculina Johanna Van Heerden. She was born on 17 Sep 1836 at Cradock, Cape Colony. She died on 20 Jan 1873 at Philippolis, Cape Colony at the age of 36.
