Biography

He was the son of John Moir.

He married Christian Stratton. Christian was the daughter of James Stratton and Helen Imri. She was born on 27 Feb 1806 at Dyce, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. She died on 7 Aug 1869 at Dyce, Aberdeenshire, Scotland at the age of 63.

They had 7 children: Christian Moir, John Moir, Margaret Moir, James Moir, William Moir, Mary Moir and Elizabeth Moir.
