Biography

He married Margaret Wilson. Margaret was the daughter of James Wilson and Isobel Stratton. She was born on 1 Jul 1835 at Newhills (Stonywood), Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

They had 7 children: Alexander Pirie, Mary Ann Pirie, William Pirie, Catherine Nelson Pirie, James Pirie, Alice Pirie and Emma Pirie.
