Rhoda Ethel Bowman was born on 2 Nov 1922.

She was the daughter of Ernest Bowman and Ethel Emelia Bowers.

She married Ian George Crawford on 4 Jun 1949 at St Paul's Church, Durban, South Africa. Ian George was the son of John Crawford and Agnes Georgina (Nan) Munro. He was born on 20 Nov 1918. He died on 27 Apr 1959 at Addington Hospital, Durban, Natal, South Africa at the age of 40.

They had 3 children: Gregan Ian Crawford, Lindsay Vaughan Crawford and Living.

She married Richard Munro Clendinning on 18 Jul 1961 at St John's Church, Pinetown, Natal, South Africa. Richard Munro was the son of Richard (Dick) Clendinning and Laura Selina Munro. He was born on 20 Jul 1911. He died on 15 Nov 1994 at Farm Manderstam, Thornville, kwa-Zulu-Natal, South Africa at the age of 83.

They had one child: Living.
