Helen Jackson was born about 1814.

She married Alexander Wyness on 8 May 1834 at Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Alexander was the son of George Wyness and Elizabeth Keith. He was born on 28 Jun 1809. He died on 13 Mar 1893 at Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland at the age of 83.

They had 11 children: William Watson Wyness, Robert Wyness, Elizabeth Wyness, George Wyness, Ann Wyness, Mary Wyness, James Davidson Wyness, Helen Wyness, Sarah Wyness, Hannah Wyness and Alexandrina Wyness.

She died on 22 Mar 1887 at Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
