Margaret Wyness was born in 1775.

She married William Diack on 24 Dec 1801 at Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. William was the son of Patrick (Peter) Diack and Jean Donald. He was born on 12 Feb 1778 at Chapel of Garioch (Pitscurry), Aberdeenshire, Scotland. He died in 1845 at Chapel of Garioch (Pitscurry), Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

They had 4 children: Mary Diack, Rachel Diack, George Diack and Ann Diack.

She died in 1848.

She was buried at Chapel of Garioch Churchyard, Chapel of Garioch, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
