Elizabeth Diack was born on 30 Jan 1829 at Kirkton of Rayne, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

She was the daughter of Alexander Diack and Anne Ledingham.

She married William Henry Arrow on 9 Oct 1863 at St Andrew's, Dunedin, New Zealand. He died on 23 Jul 1874 at Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand.

She married John Sharp in 1885.

She died on 12 Dec 1905 at Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand at the age of 76.

She was buried at Plot 68, Block 8P, Southern cemetery, Dunedin, New Zealand.
