He married Helen Margaret Diack Brown. Helen Margaret Diack was the daughter of Norbett Joseph Brown and Helen (Nellie) Shaw Diack. She was born on 22 Oct 1927 at Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She died on 12 Apr 2008 at Brampton, Ontario, Canada at the age of 80.
